The 1940s introduced a new expression of femininity — strong yet elegant, structured yet unmistakably graceful.
Defined waists and sculpted shoulders created the iconic silhouette that became one of the signatures of the decade.
For L’Heure Noire, we bring this remarkable shape back to life through knitwear recreated from original period designs.
Nearly eighty years later, the silhouette returns.
From the Archives, Back to Life
This time, we went beyond inspiration.
Two signature knitwear pieces from L’Heure Noire have been recreated from original 1940s designs found in archival Jack Frost Sweaters publications.
We returned to the original silhouettes, proportions and distinctive shoulder lines that made these designs so unmistakably of their era — carefully bringing them into the Fiore V wardrobe of today.
